    ROW Supervisor
Confidential Search  •  Recruiting for 2027 Projects

We're building the bench for a substantial slate of utility infrastructure work landing in 2027 (electric transmission and distribution, substations, telecom and fiber, water, wastewater, gas, renewables, and transportation projects) and are looking to start connecting with folks before the work hits.

    The Opportunity
The Right-of-Way Supervisor owns the outcome on assigned acquisition projects: leading the Land Representatives and Lead Land Representatives who do the fieldwork, and answering directly to clients for schedule, budget, and quality. You'll build the team, set the pace, and step in personally on the negotiations nobody else can close.

    What You'll Do
    • Direct field personnel across one or more right-of-way acquisition projects, setting priorities and workloads to match schedules and client expectations.
    • Supervise and develop Land Representatives and Lead Land Representatives; coaching, evaluating performance, and building bench strength.
    • Manage complex acquisition projects start to finish: staffing plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
    • Guide the toughest negotiations (difficult ownership, valuation, title, and stakeholder issues) and support condemnation or eminent domain activity when required.
    • Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned clients, leading project meetings and resolving issues before they escalate.
    • Own project financials: budgets, labor utilization, expense approval, and profitability.
    • Review acquisition documentation for quality and consistency, and drive continuous improvement across the team.
    What We're Looking For
    • 10+ years of right-of-way acquisition or utility land services experience.
    • 3+ years leading field teams or supervising professional personnel.
    • Demonstrated experience managing complex right-of-way acquisition projects.
    • Strong knowledge of real estate principles, title research, easement acquisition, eminent domain, and property rights.
    • Proven leadership, negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Strong project management and client relationship experience.
    • A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the willingness to travel extensively.
    Nice to Have
    • A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, land management, project management, or a related field.
    • SR/WA designation, or progress toward one.
    • PMP certification.
    • Experience managing large utility infrastructure projects or supervising multi-state acquisition teams.
    • Experience supporting eminent domain proceedings.
    • Knowledge of GIS, title research, survey, utility engineering, and construction processes
