Job Opportunity: Rover Operator Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as a Rover Operator at our Aurora location.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide shift coverage when vacation, sick time, or time off is requested from operations
- Have a thorough knowledge of compliance programs: safety, PSM, environmental, FSMA, and product QA
- Maintain records and ensure Standard Operating Procedures are updated
- Other administration duties as directed by production manager
- Assist in coordination of plant shutdown and associated projects
- Provide area training and cross training with the operators
- Assist in new plant projects and modifications
- Focus on plant house cleaning projects and organization
- Possess a complete understanding of all the process equipment
- Make decisions in processing to ensure meeting product specifications
Working Hours:
- Rotating 12-hour shifts line from operators and must have flexible schedules to workdays or nights and cover scheduled/ unscheduled time off
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Problem solving
- Understanding of ethanol plant operations
- Self- motivated
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others and work well as a team
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
