    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Petroleum Services Router. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer inquiries and requests related to petroleum products and services while efficiently routing deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.

    Responsibilities

    • Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally via phone, email, or in person.
    • Order Management: Receive and process customer orders for petroleum products, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order details.
    • Routing: Coordinate delivery routes for petroleum trucks, optimizing efficiency and minimizing delivery times while considering factors such as location, volume, and urgency.
    • Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with customers, drivers, and internal teams to relay important information, update delivery statuses, and address any issues or delays.
    • Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues efficiently, investigating root causes and implementing solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and delivery schedules using appropriate software systems and tools.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all customer interactions and delivery operations.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including drivers, dispatchers, and sales representatives, to streamline processes and enhance overall customer experience.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in customer service, logistics, or related fields preferred.
    • Prior experience in customer service, logistics, or a similar role within the petroleum industry is advantageous.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues at all levels.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for order processing, routing, and record-keeping.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs. Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, twist, and reach frequently.
