SALARY: $22.47 PER HOUR
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Solid Waste Service Coordinator the Route Supervisor oversees 13 to 20 employees engaged in solid waste refuse collection. This role involves extensive use of software and programs for scheduling, tracking, and reporting purposes. Responsibilities include investigating complaints, conducting follow-up inspections, and assisting in enforcing the city's Solid Waste Regulations. The Route Supervisor is also responsible for recordkeeping, conducting and documenting safety training, and investigating accidents and property damage claims.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) and two (2) years of experience in personnel supervision, computer operation, data entry, bookkeeping or related field is required. Must have a valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
