Route Service Representative

In this role, you'll serve as the face of the company by safely transporting patient specimens, medical supplies, and reports while providing exceptional service to healthcare clients. Shift: Mon - Fri, 03:45 PM - 12:15 AM PST
 
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. on W2 – all inclusive.
 
Description:
We're seeking a reliable, customer-focused Route Service Representative (RSR) to join our team! In this role, you'll serve as the face of the company by safely transporting patient specimens, medical supplies, and reports while providing exceptional service to healthcare clients.
 
Responsibilities:

• Safely pick up and deliver patient specimens, medical supplies, reports, and equipment on assigned routes.
• Operate a company vehicle while maintaining a safe driving record.
• Ensure specimens are handled, stored, and transported according to temperature and safety requirements.
• Use handheld scanners and mobile devices to accurately track and document pickups and deliveries.
• Follow assigned routes while accommodating same-day pickups when needed.
• Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route updates and service requests.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep company equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Build positive relationships with healthcare clients by providing professional and dependable service.
• Follow all company safety, OSHA, and transportation procedures.

 
Required:

• Valid Driver's License with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 36 months and none within the last 12 months.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, courier services, or customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable driving throughout the workday.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 40 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners, smartphones, or similar technology.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
