Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $20.00hr - $23.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Valid Driver's license with a minimum of 3+ years driving experience.
  • Motor Vehicle Record with no more than two moving violation convictions within the previous 36-month period, with none in the most recent 12 months.
  • General computer knowledge and experience with handheld scanner equipment preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for compliance with all processes including timekeeping, attendance, vehicle safety, and OSHA requirements.
  • Handle and store all samples from the client office to the drop off point, including proper packing of specimens for shipment.
  • Perform safe and timely transportation of specimens, supplies, reports, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destination.
  • Operate company vehicle safely and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record within company guidelines.
  • Ensure route is started with proper equipment tools such as route scanners, carry bags, prepared coolers, and dry ice.
  • Follow route as scheduled and sequenced while allowing for will-call stops and special pickups.
  • Maintain specimen integrity at all times using specimen carry bags to transport items by temperature.
  • Follow all scan and documentation requirements including tissue, irreplaceable, and frozen tracking processes.
  • Communicate with Dispatch before leaving an area to ensure will-calls have been cleared.
  • Keep route information, sequencing, and client notes up to date.
  • Document and provide appropriate client satisfaction information to management.
  • Maintain professionalism and a service orientation with clients.
