Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Rough Terrain Forklift Operators for projects located in or around Sparrows Point, MD. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $34/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Forklift Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
- Operate a rough-terrain forklift to lift, move, and position C-containers and other steel structures
- Safely operate JLG telehandlers and similar rough-terrain forklifts
- Assist with the assembly and installation of steel units
- Use hand tools to install and tighten nuts, bolts, and other hardware
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and equipment requirements
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Current forklift and/or rough-terrain forklift certification
- Experience operating a JLG telehandler or comparable rough-terrain forklift
- Ability to safely maneuver and position steel structures and containers
- Comfortable performing physical assembly work when not operating equipment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable
