We are looking for a self-driven and reliable Field Service Technician to join our MD Totco (MDT) group. As a rotational candidate, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers in the Oil and Gas Industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to the efficient operation of existing systems.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- AA Degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel over 75% of the time is essential.
- Ability to work a rotational schedule of 14 days on and 14 days off.
- Capable of working 12+ hours daily during the scheduled work period.
- Good interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
- Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware.
- Willingness to be on call and respond to urgent customer requests.
- Electrical background is preferred but not mandatory.
- All applicants must pass background, driving record, drug, and physical checks.
- Must be 21
- Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, testing, and calibration of NOV products.
- Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems, ensuring proper functionality.
- Perform field upgrades and provide training to customers on the operation of upgraded systems.
- Communicate field failures and feedback to relevant departments for further analysis and improvements.
- Complete billing, inventory management, and necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
- Submit field service documentation, ensuring all relevant details are captured.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely support.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
