Position Details
- Role: Rotating Equipment Maintenance Technician
- Location: Richmond, CA
- Schedule: Day shift with overtime and call-outs as required
- Reporting Line: Maintenance Supervisor
- Pay: $51.03/hr starting; $54.30/hr after 3 months
Pay is influenced by role, level, and location. The listed rate is the starting hourly pay for new hires; actual compensation may vary based on work location and factors such as relevant skills, experience, and education/training. We’ll review site-specific details during the hiring process, and note that some facilities are subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements. U.S. postings reflect base hourly wages only and exclude benefits, pension contributions, overtime, shift premiums, and other incentives.
Core Responsibilities
- Tank vessel openings and cleanouts
- Certified welding, cutting, and burning
- Pump, gearbox, and motor repair
- Coupling and sheave alignment for mechanical power transmission
- Piping and valve replacements
- General plant upkeep and maintenance
- Emergency response team participation
- Complete work orders and all maintenance/safety/PM documentation in accordance with SOPs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or chemical environment (strongly preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools, CMMS, and email
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, O&M instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturers’ literature, and schematics/diagrams
- Availability for periodic off-shift emergency call-outs, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather and at height while wearing PPE
Medical Requirement
