About the Role - Rooms Assistant Manager

The responsibilities include assisting in overseeing any area in the Rooms Division. This can include the front office staff, guest services, housekeeping/laundry, and reservations. Duties may also include training, staff development and scheduling.

The salary range for this position is $67,200 - $85,000. This is the pay range for this position that Park Hyatt Aviara reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Some additional responsibilities may include:

• Assist Front Office Manager in all administrative tasks as assigned
• Answer phones, greet customers, assist with check-in and check-out procedures, and make reservations
• Confirm staff schedules, assist with payroll procedures, and accurately perform data-entry tasks
• Resolve customer complaints and issues and represent our hotel brand in a professional manner

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year previous front office supervisory experience preferred
• Previous experiences in a luxury resort preferred
• Must possess a professional presentation
• Outstanding guest services skills, sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Holidays and weekends
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
