    Job Description
    Room Service Servers are responsible for taking orders over the phone and delivering food and beverages to guest rooms promptly and professionally while maintaining the AAA 4 Diamond brand expectation.
     
    Part-time hours available: weekday afternoon/evenings from 3 pm - 9 pm, some weekend shifts available as well (7 am - 3 pm or 3 pm - 9pm)
     
    Duties and Responsibilities
    • Take room service orders over the phone and repeat orders back to guests to ensure accuracy
    •  Enter orders into POS system accurately and efficiently
    • Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a courteous and professional manner
    • Ensure all orders are presented to resort standards
    • Anticipate guest needs before they ask
    • Set up and remove trays, carts, and service items from guest rooms and hallways
    • Perform hall sweeps throughout and at the end of each shift
    • Promote The Osthoff Resort’s service principle by example—respond to/resolve guest inquiries, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.  Make sure to inform a team leader of any problems.
    • Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant team members to ensure seamless service
    • Assist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team
      • Including polishing, cleaning, prepping
    • Be willing to help fill in as needed to ensure guests’ needs are being met
    • All other duties as assigned
     
    Qualifications
    • Must be at least 16 years old
    • Strong customer/ guest service skills
    • Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures
    • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with self-motivation
    • Must be able to have a positive attitude with the willingness to go above and beyond what is expected
    • Possess great time management skills, with the ability to think on the spot
    • Must possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environment
    • Ability to learn quickly and accurately
