Description

Position Purpose & SummaryReporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant Position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest room hallways, rooms, balconies and porches to the property standards.Essential Functions:Picks up extra cleaning and guest room supplies in the Housekeeping Department. Cleans assigned quota of rooms daily according to standards. Always maintains a clean and neat area. Restock/replace items in rooms and bathrooms for guest use that have run out of stock or need replacementReports all maintenance problems to Supervisor / Engineering. Ensure service area is well stocked with necessary products and cleaned always. Stocks area for next day Vacuum bathrooms, bedrooms floors, corridors, stairs, and lifts to remove all debris; check the vacuum cleaner every day and if necessary, change the bagOffers assistance to guests in a courteous manner. Reports and delivers lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office.Provides intuitive service to guests during stayover to anticipate needs.May perform regular deep cleaning of all areas of hotel as instructed.Ability to solve problems relating to guests, with strong customer service skills.Ability to work in a team setting, providing support to co-workers whenever called upon to offer assistanceDelivers items to guest rooms and closets as needed.Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
