Roofing Sales Manager
On-site | Sarasota, FL | Full-Time | W-2
Location: This position is based on-site in Sarasota, FL. Local candidates and those able to commute daily are encouraged to apply.

You've built a strong sales career in roofing, construction, or home services. You know how to close. What you want now is to lead: build a team, sharpen the process, and own the number instead of just chasing it.
Florida Southern Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. has served Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and surrounding Southwest Florida communities since 1992. We handle residential and commercial roofing: repairs, replacements, inspections, tile, shingle, and metal systems. We have real systems in place: HubSpot for CRM and Zuper for field service management, an experienced leadership team, and a structured operating system with weekly meetings, scorecards, and clear accountability. What we need is a sales leader to run the sales side of it.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- The company sales number across residential, commercial/multifamily, and service divisions
- A team of four salespeople today, with plans to grow the team as revenue grows
- Pipeline accuracy and follow-up discipline in HubSpot: right stage, right activity, no stale deals
- Clean handoffs from signed contract to operations
- Direct commercial/multifamily selling until we hire a dedicated rep for that seat; this role sells while it leads
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable to weekly activity and results
- Improve sales processes, follow-up systems, and the customer experience from first contact through signed contract
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline movement, and customer communication in HubSpot
- Support accurate estimates, proposals, and handoffs to operations
- Carry and close commercial and multifamily opportunities personally in the near term
- Report directly to the VP of Operations and participate in weekly leadership meetings
- Represent the company with integrity in the field and in the community
QUALIFICATIONS
- Five or more years of sales experience in roofing, construction, home improvement, or a related industry preferred.
- Sales leadership, team management, or sales coaching experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems; HubSpot experience is a plus
- Ability to work with field teams, office staff, and company leadership
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug screening upon a conditional job offer
PAY AND BENEFITS
- Full-time, W-2 employment
- OTE: $100,000-$180,000 per year
