Athletic Administrative Assistant
Purpose
Support Roncalli High School athletics, transportation and school administration through accurate data management, responsive communication and dependable event coordination. This full-time, year-round role advances Roncalli Catholic Schools' mission by serving students, families and staff with professionalism, integrity and a positive spirit.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.-noon, with evening and occasional weekend hours during athletic seasons
- Status: Full-time, non-exempt, school year and summer

- Reports to: Athletic Director, Transportation Director and President
- Pay: $17-$19 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do
Athletics
- Manage athletic schedules, rosters, eligibility, co-ops and student information in Arbiter/rSchool.
- Coordinate opponents, locations, contracts, transportation and official assignments.
- Confirm event payments and assist with WIAA forms, conferences, awards and scholarships.
- Supervise home games, tournaments and volunteers, including admissions, concessions, facilities and crowd control.
- Prepare game-day materials, sponsor announcements and post-event deposits.
- Support photo days, family registrations and middle-school athletic integration.
- Provide secondary supervision and support for athletic interns.
Transportation
- Help develop bus, shuttle, field-trip and athletic-event routes.
- Verify authorized riders and maintain updated transportation records.
- Create driver logs, process monthly documentation and communicate calendar changes.
- Answer transportation questions from families, staff and administrators.
- Serve as a secondary transportation contact and confirm athletics-related transportation.
Administrative Support
- Assist reception, clerical and finance operations as needed.
- Support the President with calendars, meetings, appointments, correspondence and reports.
- Operate standard office equipment and coordinate technical support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and perform other assigned duties, including medication distribution and safety-related tasks.

- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google tools, data entry and computer systems.
- Familiarity with PowerSchool, FACTS and Arbiter preferred.
- Clean professional appearance, punctuality and dependable attendance.
- Associate degree preferred.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with no serious violations.
- Ability to log work hours using a computer or mobile application.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull and lift light to moderate loads.
- Pass a background check and complete/maintain Virtus training.
- Position is at-will, with wages paid semi-monthly on the 15th and last day of each month.
