Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plate Roller Operator to join a growing fabrication team in the Tulsa area. This position is responsible for operating manual plate rolling equipment to transform flat steel sheets into precision cylindrical components while maintaining high quality and safety standards. As your skills develop, you'll have the opportunity to train on advanced CNC plate rolling equipment.
The ideal candidate has previous plate rolling experience, enjoys precision fabrication, and is looking to expand their skills in a modern manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 1 year of manual plate rolling experience preferred (less experience may be considered if plate rolling experience is present)
Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate manual plate rolling machines to form flat metal into cylindrical components
Read and interpret work orders and fabrication specifications
Inspect finished products to verify quality, dimensions, and accuracy
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Train on CNC plate rolling equipment as skills progress
Assist with additional fabrication duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
Previous heavy steel fabrication experience
Experience operating plate rolling equipment in a manufacturing environment
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn additional fabrication processes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate heavy fabrication equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working around steel materials, industrial machinery, and manufacturing equipment
Work Environment
Heavy industrial fabrication and manufacturing facility
