Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to join our team in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating roll off trucks to transport and deliver containers to various job sites, ensuring timely and efficient service while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roll off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver roll off containers to and from customer locations.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after trips to ensure proper working condition.
• Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or spillage during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle operation and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Proven experience operating roll off trucks or similar heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in truck operation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols at all times. The Roll Off Driver will be expected to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed.
