The Job Coach will play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive workforce readiness program for shelter participants. This program will support individuals in building resumes, participating in mock interviews, learning workplace etiquette, strengthening teamwork, developing time management skills, and applying for jobs online. Job Coaches will provide education, social engagement opportunities, resource navigation, and peer support to participants. They will collaborate closely with the Social Enterprises team and a range of community partners to create a well-rounded enrichment program that supports individuals in both housing and shelter settings. Through these efforts, participants will gain the skills, confidence, and support needed to pursue and maintain employment, ultimately improving their overall quality of life. The Job Skills Coordinator will also attend Peer Support Specialist in Addiction Recovery training.
