You'll enjoy year-round work and the benefit of having your weekends free.Rodding and Hydro Jetting Drain Technician Requirements:1+ year(s) of drain rodding experience in residential or commercial environmentsValid driver's licenseAbility to identify backed-up drain and sewer lines and select the appropriate equipment for the jobExperience operating rodding equipmentAbility to schedule follow-up camera inspection appointments for the Lead TechnicianCommitment to leaving each property cleaner than you found itWillingness to learn and develop additional skillsPreferred:Drain installation or excavation experience (backhoe/skid steer)Familiarity with Service Titan or similar dispatch softwareHydro jetting experienceYOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A RODDING AND HYDRO JETTING DRAIN TECHNICIANAs a Rodding and Hydro Jetting Drain Technician, you will receive dispatched service calls and travel to homes and businesses throughout the northern Chicago suburbs. You will identify where a drain or sewer line is backed up, select the appropriate machine and cable for the job, clear the blockage, and test the line to ensure it is flowing properly. Your work will include clearing everything from sink and tub lines to main sewer lines using rodding equipment, along with operating a hydro jetter to remove grease, roots, and scale. Once the line is flowing again, you will schedule a follow-up appointment for the Lead Technician to perform a camera inspection and determine the cause of the backup. You will earn a bonus for every camera inspection lead you set, allowing you to increase your earnings without camera work or sales pressure.
