$34.00 an hour

The base hourly pay range above represents the minimum and maximum of the pay range for this position. Actual placement within this range will vary based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and geographic location. Hourly rates may vary based upon state/local minimum wage restrictions. Final hourly rate of pay will be discussed and determined during the hiring process. Hourly employees will be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable law and KBS policy.

Position Summary

Robotics Project Manager supports the Director of Robotics Program Management, Program Managers and cross-functional teams by helping ensure smooth post-deployment operational success. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the Robotics department. They will also manage the inbound ticket queue from Field Operations to the Robotics Program. Identifies misassigned tickets, resolves issues when possible, and escalates items that require a Program Manager's attention. Robotics Project Manager also organizes documentation, tracks ticket progress, and serves as the first point of contact with Field Operations before engaging Program Managers for escalated support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Communication & Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with Field Operations on behalf of Program Management. Improve communication and response times across Field Operations, vendors, and the Robotics department from site scheduling through post-deployment operations and end-of-life support.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the required tools and ticketing system. Responsible for SOP builds, lead SOP reviews with the Director and Program Managers, and continuously maintain and improve SOPs.
  • Issue and Ticket Tracking: Review robot performance, review inbound ticket queue, if robot is performing poorly and does not have a ticket created, create and work the ticket. This supports Program Managers by ensuring every instance of poor performance has a ticket for root cause analysis, trend tracking, and resolution tracking to turn into a FAQ document.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor ticket activity to prevent stalled issues. Escalate concerns when progress has not been made on areas outside of Robotics control. Identifies trends in common issues and required resolutions to improve processes and documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Approvals: Review client provided blueprints, escalate any missing information to the client. Transfer blueprints from client SharePoint to in-house SharePoint. Develop a process to mark blueprints in AutoCAD or similar software that clearly identifies all cleaning zones. Manage work output from call center staff and adjust process as needed to ensure the cleaning zones are completed on time, accurate, and fully approved by Program Management prior to robot mapping visits.
  • Agility: The role will receive a lot of ad hoc requests from varying levels of leadership and will need to be able to balance those ad hoc requests in addition to the required duties listed above.

Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma, additional education is a plus but not required
  • Equivalent experience with transferrable skills

Experience

  • 2-4 years prior experience in program, project or operational coordination or management
  • 2-4 years of prior technology experience is preferred but not required

  • Regular weekly schedule; weekends or holidays as needed.
