What You'll Do as the Robotic Welding Operator:
  • Program, set up, and maintain robotic welding systems to support production
  • Develop and proof welding programs for first-article and ongoing production runs
  • Optimize welding paths, cycle times, and processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements
  • Train and support operators by sharing technical knowledge and best practices
  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on robotic welding equipment
  • Monitor weld quality and ensure all products meet engineering specifications and standards
  • Communicate technical issues with management and external vendors as needed
What You Need to Bring Robotic Welding Operator:
  • 3–5 years of robotic welding experience with relevant certification
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Proficiency with robotic welding platforms (e.g., FANUC, ABB, or Yaskawa)
  • Experience with programming tools such as RobotMaster or Motoman/Yaskawa systems
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, parameters, and quality standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pass internal weld testing and perform visual inspections of weld quality
