Skills/Qualifications:
- Set up and operate arc welding robot that welds together parts of fabricated metal products as specified by blueprints, layouts, welding procedures and operating charts.
- Starts machine and observes meters and gauges or observes welding action for compliance with procedures.
- Loading and unloading the welding robot.
- Visually examines welds for adherence to specifications.
- Adjusts machine set up to vary size, location and penetration of bead.
- Monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Programming or setup experience
- Sheet metal fabrication background
- Experience with tight tolerances and high-mix/low-volume work
