Lead Daily Operations for Cutting-Edge Robotics

At Symbotic, we’re redefining warehouse automation. As our Robotic Warehouse Operations Site Manager, you’ll guide the on-site team that keeps our customer’s robotic material handling system running safely, smoothly, and at peak performance.

How You’ll Make an Impact (A Day in the Life)

You start with a safety huddle, ensuring OSHA, Symbotic, and customer protocols are top of mind. You align staffing for the operational plan, then walk the floor, checking system health, throughput, and quality metrics. Throughout the shift, you coach your team, resolve system issues using standard operating procedures, and adjust to changing business conditions as needed. You partner closely with the customer’s local leadership and connect with Symbotic headquarters to share insights and escalate when necessary. You close the day by reviewing KPIs against contractual targets, logging trends, and documenting any incident investigations per company guidelines.

    What You’ll Do

    • Own daily safety: uphold and verify compliance with OSHA, Symbotic, and customer processes and procedures.
    • Lead and develop a blended team of hourly and salaried professionals aligned to the customer’s hours of operation.
    • Execute and refine SOPs to drive performance as the automated system runs at varying levels.
    • Plan staffing for all functions; set goals, conduct training, coach for growth, and complete formal performance reviews.
    • Standardize problem response: build and maintain processes, procedures, and documentation to address recurring issues.
    • Continuously assess and elevate team performance; motivate the team to exceed customer expectations.
    • Communicate routinely with local customer management and Symbotic headquarters.
    • Track system performance, report problem trends, and present data-backed solutions.
    • Deliver KPI reporting as defined by contractual requirements.
    • Investigate accidents per company guidelines; apply judgment and document findings.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
