    A night in the life on Symbotic's Centralia team

    Shift: Wed–Sat, 6:00 PM–4:30 AM

    Step onto the floor at our growing Centralia, WA site and help keep one of the industry's most advanced warehouse automation systems humming. This is an entry-level opportunity with a clear path to grow. We promote from within and invest in those who invest in their craft.

    What your shift looks like

    • Kick off with a safety huddle, check your PPE, and review priorities.
    • Inspect and service automated robotic vehicles, vertical lifts, and automated adapters. You’ll perform routine adjustments and basic mechanical/electrical repairs.
    • Use wiring diagrams and test equipment to track down anomalies—escalating or working under supervisor guidance as needed.
    • Record every task in the CMMS so the next tech has a clean handoff.
    • Jump in to support Cell Operator functions during peak moments.
    • Follow OSHA and Symbotic safety practices at all times, including LOTO and fall protection.

    What sets you up for success

    • 1+ year of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or automation work—or formal technical training/certification.
    • Ability to read basic schematics and follow technical procedures.
    • A reputation for reliable attendance—your team counts on you.
    • Curiosity to learn PLCs, robotics, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
    • Comfort working independently while adhering to established processes.

    The environment

    This is an active, physical role. You’ll work at heights up to 45 feet, in temperatures from 32°–105°F, and lift up to 50 lbs. PPE is required. FHN shift.
