Job Summary
Support robotic welding and industrial automation operations, with primary responsibility for hands-on ABB robot programming, troubleshooting, optimization, and production support.
Responsibilities
Program, modify, troubleshoot, and optimize ABB welding robots using RAPID.
Troubleshoot robotic welding, weld schedules, torch calibration, touch sensing, and seam tracking.
Diagnose robot, electrical, mechanical, and process issues.
Troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, controls, I/O, field devices, and schematics.
Support commissioning of new robotic and automation equipment.
Support production and continuous-improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
5 7 years of relevant experience preferred.
Hands-on ABB welding robot programming and ABB RAPID programming - mandatory.
Robotic welding and robot troubleshooting experience.
Experience with weld schedules, torch calibration, touch sensing, and seam tracking.
Industrial electrical troubleshooting and electrical schematic experience.
Preferred Qualifications
ABB robotic paint systems.
Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLC, Studio 5000, or RSLogix.
HMI, VFD, servo motion, Industrial Ethernet, PLC/I/O systems.
Robotic vision, automation integration, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement.
Work Requirements
On-site role in Dodge Center, Minnesota.
Must be able to support hands-on robotic/automation activities in a manufacturing environment.
