Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM for approximately 1 month
Pay: $18.00/hour during training; $21.00/hour after completing training and moving to 2nd shift

Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Roasting Room Worker to join our client's food production operation. The primary responsibility of this position is roasting nuts while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. This is a physically active position that requires standing for the entire shift, frequent bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
The company follows SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards and conducts annual audits, so attention to detail and knowledge of food safety practices are highly valued.
Job Duties
Operate roasting equipment and roast nuts according to established production procedures.
Make boxes and stack finished boxes on pallets.
Perform basic and deep cleaning of the roasting room and production areas.
Complete basic computer work, paperwork, and production documentation.
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Perform general warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Lift and move materials weighing up to 55 pounds.
Remain on your feet throughout the workday with frequent bending and physical activity.
Follow all company quality, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
Previous food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or roasting experience is helpful but not required.
Food safety knowledge is a strong plus.
Must be comfortable working in a warm, loud, and sometimes messy production environment.
Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending.
Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Must be willing to follow strict food safety and GMP standards.

The roasting room can become warm during the summer months.
The work environment can be loud and messy at times.

Training & Pay Progression
First Month: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM at $18.00/hour
After Training: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM at $21.00/hour
Dress Code & PPE Requirements
Due to the food manufacturing environment and strict food safety standards, the following requirements apply:
Steel-toe shoes required.
Safety glasses required.
Hairnets are required and will be provided.
No jewelry of any kind, including wedding bands or earrings.
No nail polish.
No loose-fitting clothing.
Shirts cannot have buttons or zippers.
No shorts.
All employees must follow required GMP and food safety procedures.
