As an Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator, you'll play a key role in protecting public health and the environment by ensuring industrial wastewater meets regulatory standards before entering treatment systems. Your work directly supports sustainable water management and helps communities thrive.

As a Roadway Contract Manager, based in Pompano Beach, FL, you will be responsible for the inspection and management of multiple roadway and structure maintenance contracts on the Florida's Turnpike across the Pompano Operations Center area. Duties include but are not limited to the following: prepare and review work orders; planning and scheduling of activities; progress reports, reviewing roadway/roadside for short-term and long-term roadway needs; approving invoices and assisting in the preparation of contract packages by providing field measurements and estimating quantities; reviewing construction projects for maintenance needs; performing periodic inspection of roadway components; inspecting outdoor advertising permits. Position will require the ability to read and interpret roadway plans and specifications; prepare reports both written and oral, and possess good communication skills overall. The candidate must have a background in Civil engineering, Construction management/engineering related and/or construction experience, as well as computer experience using normal business software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of maintenance contract packages by providing field measurements, estimating quantities and other necessary data.
• Prepare and review contract maintenance work orders.
• Plan and schedule contractor maintenance activities.
• Prepare contract progress reports.
• Periodically review the roadway and roadside for short-term and long-term maintenance needs.
• Assist in performing final inspection of construction projects.
• Respond to RISC or other major incidents to assist in highway clearance during normal work hours.
• Be assigned On-Call status for emergency calls from Turnpike Operations Center for up to two months per year, during which assigned time,
• Must respond to a "call to report" at an agreed upon telephone number, and
• When called, must immediately report to a work location and assist in returning the roadway to safe operation.

Here's what you'll need

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

• AA Degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years of Roadway maintenance and/or construction experience required; or high school diploma and 5 years equivalent experience.
• Experience with Florida Department of Transportation specifications and procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) standards an Advanced Certification preferred.

Posted Salary Range: Minimum

70,700.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

79,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $70,700.00 to $79,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
