Join our Road Maintenance Team for the 2026 Winter Season!
We are looking for individuals to assist with road maintenance utilizing a variety of medium and heavy road maintenance equipment. This critical role will assist with minor road repairs, brush clearing, traffic control and other duties as assigned.
This is an entry-level classification, and individuals are assigned to a variety of work, including heavy physical tasks and the operation of a variety of road maintenance equipment on training or relief assignments.
PROOF OF VALID CLASS C OPERATORS LICENSE ISSUED BY A STATE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE IS REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION.

Education and Experience Required
Completion of 12th grade or equivalent AND Possession of a valid Class C operators license issued by a State Department of Motor Vehicle.

Sick Leave:
Temporary County employees shall accrue at the rate of one (1) hour of sick leave for each thirty (30) hours worked. Temporary County employees can accrue a maximum of 80 hours of sick leave which may be carried over from one fiscal year to the next.
Medical Benefits:
Temporary employees whose assignments average 30 hours per week or more are eligible to enroll in County-sponsored medical benefits.
