Job Description Summary
This part-time position reports to the Director of Workforce Initiatives. Required work hours during the contract period will be Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the possibility of some weekday afternoons.

Active Class A CDL along with valid DOT health card.
Additional Requirements:
1) Instructors will be required to maintain a positive student-learning experience, while students are receiving their hands-on driving experience.
2) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3) Instructor will be required to follow all federal and state laws while supervising the student driver.
Preferred Qualifications
1) At least one year or more in actual over-the-road driving experience.
2) Previous teaching experience or training experience.
3) Working knowledge of log books.
4) Working knowledge of pre-trip inspections.
5) Working knowledge of required DMV 'shifting' patterns.
Essential Duties
The Road Instructor is responsible for taking the students out driving each weekend on the various routes. The Road Instructor is responsible for re-enforcing the classroom materials, through hands-on driving experience.
FLSA Estimated Hours per Week TBD Range $17.65 - $21.47 Based on the College's salary plan. (This range covers those with educational level below an Associate's Degree. The high end of the range may increase with a higher relevant educational level.)
