We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation team in Newfane, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with strong skilled nursing and leadership experience who is ready to take the next step in their nursing career.

The RN Unit Manager will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee daily nursing operations, support clinical staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New York State RN license – REQUIRED

• Minimum 2 years of Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience – REQUIRED

• Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or unit management experience preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to effectively supervise and support nursing staff

• Commitment to resident safety and quality care

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON with the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Department

• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to nursing staff

• Ensure appropriate staffing and nursing coverage based on resident needs

• Monitor nursing practices and adherence to facility policies and clinical standards
