Northwoods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time leadership position combining unit management with Assistant Director of Nursing responsibilities. This opportunity offers a salary of $85,000-$95,000 per year in a small, home-like skilled nursing facility with a close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily nursing operations and resident care
Support the Director of Nursing with clinical oversight and staff supervision
Supervise and support RN, LPN, and CNA staff
Oversee resident assessments, documentation, and care plan updates
Monitor wound care, infection control, and EMAR compliance
Investigate resident incidents and ensure appropriate follow-up
Promote quality care and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing
Skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience required
Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
MDS experience preferred
