RN UNIT MANAGER | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager for a contract leadership opportunity in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting. The RN Unit Manager will oversee daily clinical operations, support nursing staff, coordinate resident care, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote positive clinical outcomes.

This assignment is ideal for a nursing leader who combines strong clinical expertise with effective team management and organizational skills.

POSITION DETAILS

  • End Date: 15 September 2026
SHIFT DETAILS
  • Shift Time: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
  • Meal Break: 30 Minutes
  • 12.5-Hour Day Shift
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $53.40 - $62.30 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Previous leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, or unit manager experience preferred
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage and support nursing staff
  • Wound care experience required
  • Ability to work the floor as needed
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit
  • Supervise and support nursing staff and clinical personnel
  • Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate care planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration
  • Monitor resident conditions and clinical outcomes
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
  • Provide clinical guidance and leadership to nursing staff
  • Participate in wound care management and treatment as needed
  • Work direct patient care assignments when required
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $53.40 - $62.30 per hour
  • Day-shift assignment
