Amoroso Woodridge is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN Unit Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents in our Harrisburg Facility.  ***Opportunities to grow and advance. Job Summary:The RN Unit Manager oversees the clinical operations and regulatory compliance of a designated long-term care and short-term rehabilitation unit. While supporting the Director of Nursing and ADON, this role balances direct staff leadership, clinical auditing, and family communication to ensure excellent resident care and positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Leadership & Patient CareDaily Oversight: Coordinate daily clinical operations, lead shift huddles, and conduct routine resident rounds.Care Planning: Review and update individualized care plans to meet long-term goals and rehabilitation milestones.Medication & Treatment: Monitor medication administration, wound care protocols, and documentation accuracy on the unit.Emergency Response: Provide hands-on clinical support and decision-making during medical emergencies or acute changes in condition.On Call: Take part in an On Call Rotation. Staff Management & Supervision:Team Guidance: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate unit RNs, LPNs, and CNAsScheduling Support: Collaborate with the scheduling coordinator to ensure safe, mandated nurse-to-resident staffing ratios.Performance Reviews: Assist in the annual evaluation process and implement corrective action or coaching when necessary. Compliance & Quality Assurance:Regulatory Adherence: Enforce strict compliance with Department of Health, CMS, and OSHA regulations.QA/PIP Programs: Participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives, tracking falls, infections, and pressure ulcers.Chart Auditing: Conduct regular audits of electronic health records (EHR) to ensure accurate, timely charting and MDS data collection. Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Licensures: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.Certifications: Active BLS/CPR Certification What We Offer:Benefits: Medical, Dental, VisionVoluntary Benefits: Life, Accidental, STD, and more.Paid Time Off401kCompetitive PayAmoroso Woodridge is an Equal Opportunity Employer
