RN UNIT MANAGER (RN UM) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager (RN UM) for a contract opportunity in a long-term care setting. The RN Unit Manager will provide clinical leadership, oversee daily nursing operations, support staff development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.

SHIFT DETAILS
  • Shift Time: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • Meal Break: 30 Minutes
  • Day Shift
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
  • Pay Rate: $53.40 - $62.30 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
  • Current BLS certification preferred
  • Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
  • Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment and care management skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to lead and mentor nursing staff effectively
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit
  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
  • Coordinate resident care plans and interdisciplinary team communication
  • Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical interventions
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and unit workflow management
  • Promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring
  • Educate, mentor, and coach nursing staff
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records
  • Support resident, family, and staff satisfaction initiatives
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Competitive pay rate of $53.40 - $62.30 per hour
