RN UNIT MANAGER (RN UM) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced and motivated RN Unit Manager (RN UM) for a contract opportunity in a long-term care setting. The RN Unit Manager will provide clinical leadership, oversee daily nursing operations, support staff development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and facility standards.

SHIFT DETAILS
- Shift Time: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- Meal Break: 30 Minutes
- Day Shift
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
- Pay Rate: $53.40 - $62.30 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and care management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Ability to lead and mentor nursing staff effectively
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operations of the assigned nursing unit
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure quality resident care
- Coordinate resident care plans and interdisciplinary team communication
- Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate clinical interventions
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and unit workflow management
- Promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance monitoring
- Educate, mentor, and coach nursing staff
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records
- Support resident, family, and staff satisfaction initiatives

- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Competitive pay rate of $53.40 - $62.30 per hour
