Position Summary
As the Registered Nurse, you will be asked to providecare to patients in a fast-paced telemetry monitoringunit under the direction and leadership of the Nurse Manager.The RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through knowledge of the nursing process and age-specific requirements, and by following departmental and hospital policy and procedure. Qualified candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively document care, delegate assignments, relay information, make referrals, and act as liaison between patient, physicians, other hospital disciplines, and community agencies.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
• ASN with enrollment in a BSN/MSN program or equivalent service line experience may be considered with CNO approval.
Licensure/Certifications:
• Current Massachusetts licensure.
• BLS & ACLS certification is required for all hires prior to their start date.
