What Youll Do- Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients, utilizing the nursing process.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respond promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Effectively communicate and delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary staff.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Uphold compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
What You NeedRequired:- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of overall nursing experience
- Proficiency with electrocardiograms, cardiac monitoring, and relevant medical software
Preferred:- Experience in telemetry, cardiovascular, or critical care units
- Certification in clinical specialty areas
- Strong communication, organizational, and judgment skills
