RN - Surgical Pre-Op (0.8 FTE Evening)

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Surgical Pre-Op to join our collaborative perioperative team. In this role, you'll help prepare patients for surgery, provide education and support, and work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Prepare patients for surgical and procedural services
• Educate patients and families
• Document care accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams
• Promote quality, safety, and infection prevention standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN license
• BLS certification upon hire
• ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience perioperative/procedural nursing experience

Preferred:

• BSN
• CAPA certification
