Operating Room RN - Full-Time (Day time varied Shift)

Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla in the brand new Rady tower!

This is a full-time, 12-hour day shift position with varied start times of 630-1900, 1030-2300, 1830-0700, depending on the department''s needs.

This position is eligible for a New Hire Bonus of $4K and $3K Relocation Assistance

Our OR department features 16 operating rooms, including 4 open-heart suites, 2 hybrid ORs, 3 robotic rooms, 1 eye room, and a dedicated trauma team. We perform 40-50 surgeries daily, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment that encourages growth and professional development.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating)

• California Registered Nurse License

• Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 + years surgery experience preferred

• Bachelor''s degree in nursing

• experience circulating trauma level surgeries
