    Position Summary

    The RN Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of nursing services during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and professional nursing standards.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
    • Coordinate and oversee daily nursing operations to ensure quality resident care.
    • Monitor clinical practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Assist with care planning, assessments, and resident health management.
    • Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing team members.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required.

     

    Qualifications

     

    Required

    • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
    • Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Ability to effectively lead teams and work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.

     

    Preferred

    • Previous RN Supervisor experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care setting.
    • Experience managing and mentoring nursing staff.
