Position Summary
The RN Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of nursing services during assigned shifts. This role ensures high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and professional nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate and oversee daily nursing operations to ensure quality resident care.
- Monitor clinical practices and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with care planning, assessments, and resident health management.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing team members.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to effectively lead teams and work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
Preferred
- Previous RN Supervisor experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care setting.
- Experience managing and mentoring nursing staff.
