Phaxis is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a respected Skilled Nursing / Retirement Community in Cary, NC.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking for a stable, full-time position in a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality skilled nursing care while promoting resident dignity and independence
• Supervise and support nursing staff during the 2nd shift
• Monitor and assess resident conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain infection control procedures and clinical standards
• Document nursing care and resident updates thoroughly
• Coordinate care according to physician orders
• Order and maintain necessary medical supplies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent resident outcomes

Preferred Clinical Experience

• Wound care
• IV therapy
• Medication administration/pass
• Tracheostomy care
• Ventilator experience
• Skilled nursing or long-term care

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Leadership/supervisory skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
