Must have trach, suctioning, toileting and lifting experience
School: University Heights
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

School Nurse Role Snapshot
School-based one-on-one nursing support for a medically fragile student
Provide care in classroom and during school-related transportation if required

Your Impact as a Nurse in a PSI Supported School
As a Special Needs School Nurse, you will provide individualized care that allows medically fragile students to safely attend school, learn, and participate in their educational environment.
You play a vital role supporting the student, family, and school team while ensuring health needs are met throughout the school day.
What You'll Do
Provide one-on-one nursing care to a medically fragile student
Monitor health status and respond to changes or concerns
Administer medications and medical interventions per care plan
Assist with specialized care such as tube feeding, tracheostomy, or ventilator support (if required)
Respond to illness or medical needs during the school day
Collaborate with teachers, families, and healthcare providers
Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality (HIPAA / FERPA compliance)
What We're Looking For
Active Ohio RN License (Required)
Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Pediatric, school, or community health experience preferred (not required)
Experience with medically fragile care such as tube feeding, tracheostomy, or ventilator support preferred but not required
Knowledge of medication administration and communicable disease prevention
Current or willingness to obtain BLS or CPR/First Aid (role dependent)
