Description

Title: RN – Revenue Integrity Specialist
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Shift: Days | Monday–Friday (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM EST)
Pay: $60/hr W2

 
Role Summary
Acts as subject matter expert for charge capture/charge description master (CDM) processes. Leads revenue cycle assessments, coordinates charge audits, works with Patient Financial Services (PFS), Health Information Management (HIM), and Reimbursement teams to improve charge accuracy and revenue integrity.
 
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's in a clinical program required (Master's preferred)
Experience: 5+ years varied clinical experience as RN, APN, or similar clinical specialist.
Licenses/Certs: Registered Nurse (PA) required 
Certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Active/Willing to take— required
 
Skills:
  • Coding/billing experience.
  • Chart/bill audit experience.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
 
Core Duties
  • Lead charge capture improvement initiatives and reconciliation
  • Project-manage biannual revenue cycle assessments (registration → billing → compliance)
  • Conduct/coordinate third-party payer chart/bill audits (with strict turnaround timelines)
  • Maintain compliance knowledge (24 CE hours/year)
  • Present formal findings to leadership/stakeholders
  • Support Revenue Analytics team and cross-department collaboration (Internal Audit, Billing Compliance, PFS)
