    Full-Time | 36 hrs./week | Night shifts

    Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center stands as a distinguished institution, encompassing a 420-bed teaching hospital, a dedicated trauma center, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a renowned geriatrics center. It proudly hosts the Johns Hopkins Burn Center, which holds the distinction of being the sole adult burn trauma facility in Maryland.     Our Rehabilitation Unit is a Med/Surg unit that specializes in rehabilitation. Registered Nurses, RNs, in this unit care for our patients who are recovering from illnesses to regain their independence. Rehabilitation RNs is very rewarding as we get to partner with our patients over the period of time and help them on their road to recovery.

    The Registered Nurse will be part of the amazing interdisciplinary team to coordinate care of their assigned patients. Registered nurses will be mentored to develop their leadership skills. As part of the team approach, Registered Nurses will learn about the science of rehabilitation nursing. Our RNs make a difference in our patients' lives and their families!

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
    • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
    • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
    • Current MD or compact/multi-state RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
    • CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
    • Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
