Supervises, coordinates, and provides leadership while directing activities of associates.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses daily patient access needs and ensures that appropriate patient care is provided. Provides oversight involving all aspects of nursing department operations.
- Delivers quality patient care and ensures implementation of clinical objectives.
- Delegates appropriate duties to clinical staff based on their assessed skills and abilities, maintaining proficiencies related to job functions and processes through ongoing monitoring of daily operations.
- Collaborates with department leadership to ensure processes are up to date and followed.
- Participates with ongoing quality initiatives, auditing projects and development of plans for improvement.
- Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification.
- AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
