    DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED at time of submittal

    Department: Cath Lab RN

    - # suites/labs: 2 Cath Lab Suites
    - #cases per day on average: 8-10 approx.
    - Required Certifications: BLS & ACLS
    - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: STEMI, Structural Heart
    (Mitraclip, TAVR, Watchman), PFO, ASD, PCI, IABP insertion,
    Impella-assisted PCI or implantation, ECMO cannulation etc.
    - Job Duties: Circulate and Monitor cases, Procedural Sedation -will
    do sedation testing prior to arrival. Scrub role is primarily by
    Techs. Scrubbing is preferred not required. STEMI receiving
    center.
    - Experience: Okay with 1 year of experience. Travel experience
    highly preferred not required. Cath Lab experience Circulating &
    Monitoring, Must have experience with Structural Heart cases.
    MacLab experience is preferred.
    - EMR/Equipment : MacLab, Epic.
    - Cardiologist hours/on call: On call overnights, holidays, and weekends.
    - Manager/Charge Nurse: Manager and Daily Cath Lab Point RN or
    Tech (Charge).
    - Cath Lab Techs: Yes - Cath Lab Techs primarily Scrub cases.
    - Shifts & Scheduling: 4 10-hour shifts weekly + call. 6:30a-5p Mon-Fri. No self-scheduling-leadership assigned. Travel RN's
    and Travel Techs must be flexible to work Mon-Fri.
    - Weeknight/Call Requirements: Approx. 1 weeknight call weekly.
    - Weekend/Call Requirements: Approx. 1-2 weekends call per 6 week schedule (Fri
    5:30p-Mon 7a).
    - Call response time: 30 minutes.
    - Floating Requirements: Currently not floating outside Cath Lab
    unless otherwise arranged (i.e. Cath Lab & EP experience may allow
    flexibility between both areas) will be stated in contract.
    - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital pre op/procedural scrubs
    provided daily upon arrival to work.
    - Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 week including GHO (3 days
    on-unit) and weekend Buddy Call.
