* RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**
**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract

" Primary Patient Population: Adult Oncology PCU and Trauma PCU patients
" Number of Beds: 18
Experience Requirements
" Minimum 1 year of experience required yes
" First-time travelers are accepted?? yes
" Is both Oncology and PCU experience required, or is strong PCU experience without Oncology experience acceptable? oncology preferred
" Charge nurse experience required? If so, is 1 year minimum correct? not required

Ratios
" Days: 1:4-1:5
" Nights: 1:4-1:5
Shifts
" 12-hour shifts
" 0630a 7:00p

" Every other weekend
" Self-scheduling - but will balance to the needs of the unit
Floating
" Travelers float to other Med/Surg and PCU units? yes
" Float assignments remain at the same level of care? yes
Orientation

Drips & Skills
Can you confirm:
" RNs occasionally titrate Insulin and Cardizem drips? yes
" Common drips/medications include:

" Any additional titratable drips travelers should be comfortable managing?
