    Hiring Process: Candidate Interview Interview with MedSol Clinical Team- No Unit Manager involvement
    Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted
    Floating roles: Travelers are expected to float throughout the zone they are hired into. Each zone covers a 60 mile radius from the zone's city center which is where the 60 mile verbiage comes into play. The traveler is responsible for obtaining housing that makes this feasible as the requirement to float throughout the full 60 mile zone applies regardless of where the traveler obtains housing.
    Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are completed remotely

    Must Have: 2 years of ED experience

    Traveler can't miss more than 3 shifts in a 13 week contract! Can make up on the front and back end of RTO

    " Scheduled at a single facility for the week
    " May float within that facility if needed
    Option B Just-In-Time (JIT):
    " Facility assigned 1 2 hours before shift start via call

    Common diagnoses/Types of patients Abdominal pain, DM, NSTEMI, penumonia, trauma, stroke, HTN

    Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? yes
    Nurse aids/EMT/Paramedics/Patient Sitters? Ratios? Duties? Techs that support unit secretary work, assist nurses on the floor as well as assist in triage.
    Is RT in the ER 24/7? Do they do ABG's, breathing Tx, & EKG's? RT available 24/7
    RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?
    Do you have Monitor Techs in the ER? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the Tele monitors? no monitor tech, RN needs to be able to read an interpret tele
    X-Ray or CT in the ER? Transport?
    Does Phlebotomy draw labs or RN's draw? Will be trained and perform Point of Care lab testing
    Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) "12 hour shifts; Schedule is made out by leadership for 6 wks at a time, travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
