Additional *** hours when floated within Region I that's not the primary facility.

Nurse: Patient Ratios 1:4-5
Required certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS
Common diagnoses/Types of patients General Medical patients including sepsis, COPD, Bowel obstructions, CHF, etc.
Experience or 'Must have' skills - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred - 2+ years related work experience is preferred - Current state licensure and AHA BLS
Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes (Insulin and Heparin gtts)
Common titratable &/or set rate drips Insulin and Heparin
Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? No tele monitor techs available on unit. Tele monitor from a centralized location in AZ reachable via Ascom app on Iphone. Able to read strips preferred.
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? No
Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios Yes. 1 CNA to 10-14 patients
RT Equipment (i.e., Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, vents, etc.) Cpap and established bipaps only
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 0600-1830 Day shift
