De-escalation, experience with physical restraints, medical restraints, medication passes, comfortability to run groups (not required), documentation.

Clinical Interviewing: Yes manager to conduct final interview

On Call, Call Back Requirements: None

Weekend Rotation: EOW

Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements: Yes, to Peds Behavioral Health

• Beds: 24
• Census 18-20/day

Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years in Psych nursing

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Adults 18 - Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Depression, Suicidal Ideation,

Patient Ratios:

• RN: 1:6
• MHT: 1:12

Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS, CPI

Skills required:

• May have patients who are recently Postpartum, if they have compounding psych diagnoses requiring inpatient treatment.
• Open Day room unit all dx not a designated detox center, but some people are naturally detoxing.
