Job Title: PRN Registered Nurse (RN) – Day & Night Shifts
Location: Tucson, Arizona (Two Acute Care & Rehabilitation Hospital Locations)
Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and flexible Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses looking to pick up additional shifts each month while working in a dynamic acute care and rehabilitation hospital setting. PRN nurses will have the flexibility to select day or night shifts based on availability and staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in both acute care and rehabilitation settings
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or a related setting preferred
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Schedule & Flexibility:
PRN/as-needed position with flexible scheduling
